Black Stars Incur Wrath of Ghanaians
Ghanaians have expressed their disappointment in the Black Stars after their goalless draw at home against low-ranked Namibia.
From observation, the West Africans believe the Black Stars are in no position to compete in the Nations Cup, which comes in a few days after what many call lacklustre attitude in the friendly match at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Monday night.
Many have hailed the tactics of the Brave Warriors’ head coach Collin Benjamin which held the Ghanaian side in a draw.
Some videos from the stadium showed spectators booing the players after one awful pass by a Black Stars player.
The performance of the four-time AFCON winners has renewed calls for the exit of Coach Chris Hughton, who was appointed less than a year ago, with others calling on the Ghana National team to avoid humiliation by opting out of the tournament.
