Chinese Who Slit Worker’s Throat Arrested
A Chinese national identified as Xue Hue has been arrested for allegedly slitting the throat of a worker at Kweikuma, a suburb of Takoradi in the Western Region.
He was arrested on Thursday, September 29 after a report was filed with the police.
He was put before court yesterday, September 30, 2022.
The victim, Isaac Boateng, on the other hand, has been treated and discharged.
3News reported that Isaac Boateng, the victim, was among 80 workers with a construction firm in the Western region who went on a rampage to demand their wages on September 28.
In the course of it, Isaac approached Xue who is their boss and “in the heat of the argument, the Chinese boss pulled a flick knife and slashed the throat of our colleague. He has incurred deep wounds, blood traces could be seen everywhere”, 3News quotes an eyewitness.
