Captain Smart Located After reports To Be Missing

Host of Onua TV/FM morning show, Blessed Godsbrain Smart has been located at the GREDA Estate Police Station following TV3 report that he was missing from National Security custody, according to a video posted by TV3.

The news that the media personality was nowhere to be found, was announced by TV3 in a Facebook post a few hours ago.

The post read, “Onua TV/FM’s morning show host Blessed Godsbrain Smart, popularly known as Captain Smart, is nowhere to be found barely 12 hours after he was taken into National Security custody”.

However, in a later post by TV3 on Youtube and captioned “Captain Smart ‘found’ at GREDA Estate Police Station”, video evidence proved the “Onua Maakye” host had been “found”.

The video showed Captain Smart and the other accused behind bars and interacting with the filmer.

Captain Smart was arrested and charged with two counts of extortion with the use of threat, together with one Eric Daniels Dadzie Copperfield alias Gh Boy, who is alleged to have facilitated Captain Smart’s alleged extortion who is also being charged with abetment of crime, a report by CNR said.

Captain Smart allegedly demanded GHS 100,000 from one Ahmed Kwabena Nkrumah, a businessman to overlook a story of fishy dealings he was allegedly engaged in at the port, CNR published.

In the Accra Circuit Court, 6 presided over by His Honour, K.K. Obiri-Yeboah yesterday, the two accused pleaded not guilty and were granted bail in the sum of GHS 50,000 each around 10:45 am, 3new reports.

According to the news outlet, the accused were then taken to the National Security office where the processing of their bails was delayed making them spend the night in the National Security holding.
