Benyiwaa of Efiewura Fame Dead
Ghanaian actress Mercy Little Smith known as Benyiwaa has passed away.
She shot to fame through the TV series Efiewura in which she played the role of wife to the lead male actor,
Judge Koboo.
The death which occurred on Tuesday, December 17, 2024, was confirmed on Efiewura TV’s official Facebook page.
“RIP Benyiwaa. She left the Earth plane yesterday. Bye.”
The cause of death is currently unknown.
Meanwhile, the news has thrown the entertainment industry into mourning with tributes pouring in for her from many fans and colleagues.
“Hmmmmmmm, today is my beloved mother’s birthday in heaven😩🥲😩 and I just lost a very good friend and sister, Little😭 Oh God this is HARD 🙆🏾♀️💔💔💔,” colleague actress Gloria Sarfo posted on Instagram.
“Waaaat….ohhhhhhh. Painful. RIP. My condolences to the family. Such a good actress,” one fan commented on Facebook.
“Awww God be with her. She paid her quota,” another wrote in a Facebook post.
