This was confirmed in a notice to members of the Council.

It will be the first meeting convened since the last one on July 4 prior to Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II’s trip to the United Kingdom (UK) to deliver a lecture at the British Museum.

Cases that will be adjudicated at the sitting include Denyase Stool affairs, Kwamang Stool Affairs, Berekum Stool Affairs, Dua Yaw Nkwanta Stool Affairs, Awua Dumase Stool Affairs and Sabronum Stool Affairs.

Committee reports in Denyase Stool affairs and Kwamang Stool Affairs will be presented before the Council chaired by the King for the ultimate resolution.

During their last sitting, Nana Owusu Ampah III, the Omanhene of Obogu Traditional Area, took the oath of allegiance before Otumfuo Osei Tutu II and the Council.

Otumfuo also used the meeting to formally inform Asanteman about his trip to the UK.

On Thursday, August 15, 2024, Otumfuo met the Kumasi Traditional Council.
