Al Nassr FC Eyes Zidane, Mourinho As Next Head Coach
Reports indicate that Cristiano Ronaldo’s current club, Al Nassr, wants either Zinedine Zidane or Jose Mourinho as its next head coach.
The club parted ways with Rudi Garcia who had been in charge of the club for nearly a year on mutual grounds.
“Al-Nassr can announce that head coach Rudi Garcia has left the club by mutual agreement,” a statement from the club announced on April 13 and thanked Rudi and his staff for “their dedicated work during the past eight months”.
Reports say Zidane and Mourinho are on top of A Nassr’s list of coaches and Ronaldo is helping the Club in that regard.
Zidane who formerly coached Real Madrid from 2016-2018 and again from 2019-2021, is currently not coaching any club but there are doubts he will accept the offer though he’s said he has plans to return to coaching.
“It is my desire to return to coaching,” he was quoted as saying in February this year.
Jose Mourinho is currently managing As Roma.
