ADASS Shooting Victim Regains Sight after Successful UK Surgery

The victim of the Adventist Senior High School (ADASS) shooting, Suzzy Adwoa Pinamang, has successfully undergone surgery in the United Kingdom (UK).

The teenager lost her sight after her classmate accidentally fired a gun he had sneaked into the school.

In a statement, Rafik Mahama, the special aide to Mr. Ibrahim Mahama- who sponsored the surgery- confirmed she had regained her sight.

“I am pleased to announce that Suzzy Adwoa Pinamang successfully underwent her scheduled eye surgery on June 2, 2025, at Moorfields Eye Hospital in the United Kingdom, one of the world’s leading and most renowned eye hospitals.”

“The operation was a success, and Suzzy is now on the path to full recovery. She has already begun regaining her independence and is now able to see on her own.”

Suzzy was shot in school on April 4 by her classmate with a locally manufactured pistol loaded with one BB round.
