Police Hunt For 3 Robbers In Bole-Bamboi Highway Robbery

The Savannah Regional Police Command is pursuing three armed robbers who attacked and shot a commuter on the Bole-Bamboi Highway, the Ghana Police Service has disclosed.

According to the police, the victim was the driver of a Hyundai Accent saloon car with two passengers on board and travelling from Accra to Jirapa.

“When they got to a section of the road between Bana Nkwanta and Nuoyiri communities, three armed men emerged from the bush and signalled them to stop and while slowing down, one of the robbers shot and killed the driver”, police recounted.

The police said Community members have been encouraged to assist the police with the relevant information to arrest the suspects.
