NDC’s Town Hall Meeting: Don’t fall for lies and propaganda- NPP cautions Ghanaians
The ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) is asking the people in the Ashanti Region to be-careful of falsehood from the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) ahead of the December 7 polls.
According to the Ashanti Regional Secretary of the NPP, Mr. Samuel Pyne, the motive of NDC to hold a Town Hall meeting in Kumasi is to spill lies against the Akufo-Addo government instead of telling what NDC’s flagbearer, Mr. John Mahama will do when given opportunity to rule Ghana.
“Their aim is to tell lies to the people in the Ashanti Region instead of what they can do”, Mr. Pyne spoke on Manhyia-based Opemsuo FM morning show hosted by George Opoku Mensah Agudey.
According to the NPP’s Regional Secretary, NPP is not bothered about NDC’s Town Hall meeting which will take place at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) in Kumasi.
The National Democratic Congress (NDC) is set to take its Peoples’ Manifesto to the good people of the Ashanti Region and its environs, as the party holds a Town Hall Meeting in Kumasi.
The event, which will afford the party an opportunity to breakdown and explain the transformational policies and programmes contained in its 2020 Manifesto, will also be held in other regions of the country in the coming weeks.
The programme is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, 15th September 2020 at 2 p.m. and will be addressed by the flagbearer of the NDC, John Dramani Mahama and other Speakers.
