Hon. Simon Osei Mensah stated that during the year under review, the Assembly had made significant progress in the areas of education and security.
However, he also acknowledged that there had been a noticeable decrease in revenue generation due to the Revenue unit’s inability to generate and distribute bills to ratepayers on time.
He expressed optimism that the coming year would be better due to the various interventions that have been put in place.
The meeting discussed various projects, programmes, and activities that were carried out to achieve the Assembly’s vision of creating a favorable environment and providing essential services for the people living within the municipality.
