Asantehene to Embark on Three-Region Tour Next Week

The King of the Asante Kingdom, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, will undertake an official tour of the Greater Accra, Central, and Western regions.

His Majesty will begin his tour in Accra on November 10, 2026, before proceeding to Cape Coast and concluding in Takoradi.

Major highlights of the itinerary include a keynote address at a World Bank event, gracing the 150th-anniversary celebrations of Mfantsipim School, and a visit to Takoradi Technical University (TTU).

The announcement was made to Nananom on November 2, 2026, during a sitting of the Kumasi Traditional Council.

His Majesty is expected to return to Kumasi exactly one week after his departure.
