It will bring together scholars, policymakers and media professionals from Africa, Asia and Latin America to discuss governance, economic transformation, modernisation, and the evolving role of developing countries in global affairs.
The Global South Academic Forum is an international academic platform initiated by the International Communication Research Institute of East China Normal University.
It provides an avenue for intellectual engagement on issues affecting developing economies, including digital sovereignty, sustainable development and global governance.
Prof. Opoku-Agyemang is scheduled to address the gathering, where her participation is expected to place Ghana’s development priorities within broader discussions on governance, international cooperation and the influence of countries in the Global South.
