GES Releases Timetable For 2026 Staff Promotion Examination

The Ghana Education Service (GES) has released the timetable for the 2026 GES Staff Promotion Examination.

According to the timetable signed by the Deputy Director-General, Prof. Smile Dzisi, for the Director-General, the examination will be held from Monday, 2nd November to Wednesday, November 4, 2026.

Per the schedule, teachers seeking promotion to the ranks of Director I and Director II will write their papers on Monday, November 2, 2026.

Those seeking promotion to Principal Superintendent and Assistant Director II (ADII) will have their examination on Tuesday, 3rd November, 2026.

The exercise will end on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, with candidates for Assistant Director I and Deputy Director taking their papers.

The GES is yet to announce the centres and other modalities for the examination.
