Manhyia Receives Special Gifts from Liberian President Joseph Boakai

The Manhyia Palace has taken delivery of symbolic gifts sent by the President of Liberia, H.E. Joseph Nyuma Boakai, and Vice President H.E. Jeremiah Koung.

The gifts were presented to the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, by former Liberian Cultural Ambassador Amb. Queen Juli Endee during the celebration of the 7th Akwasidae Festival on Sunday, October 11, 2026.

She attended the ceremony alongside a delegation from the Hollywood and African Prestigious Awards (HAPAwards), led by CEO Dr Tina Weisinger.

Presented on traditional brass trays, the items served as tokens of goodwill, cultural solidarity, and respect from the leadership and people of Liberia.

Ambassador Juli Endee, who also serves as the Executive Director of Liberia Crusaders for Peace, performed a peace crusade song and cultural performance in honour of His Majesty during the durbar.
