Ashanti Regional NPP Executives Introduced to Asantehene

The newly elected Ashanti Regional Executives of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) have been introduced to the King of the Asante Kingdom, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.

Led by Lawyer S.K. Boafo, the delegation joined the celebration of the seventh Akwasidae Festival at the Manhyia Palace on Sunday, October 11, 2026.

The occasion was used to officially present the executive team to the Asantehene and seek his blessings as they begin their tenure.

Among the delegation were the Regional First Vice Chairman, Bernard Amofa Jantuah; Second Vice Chairman, Addai-Opoku Aikins; Regional Secretary, Dr Francis Adomako; and Regional Treasurer, Helena Mensah.

The Regional Chairman, Odeneho Kwaku Appiah, popularly known as COKA, was unable to attend as he was said to be out of the country.
