Kantanka Family Feud Ends as Adwoa Safo Acknowledges Israel as Family, Kristo Asafo Church Head

The leadership tussle within the family of the late Apostle Dr Kwadwo Safo appears to be over as Former Dome-Kwabenya MP, Sarah Adwoa Safo (Esq.), has publicly accepted her brother, Israel Kwadwo Safo, as the legitimate Leader of the Kantanka Family and the Kristo Asafo Church.
In a reconciliation statement issued on Thursday, Adwoa Safo said she was choosing conciliation over conflict to preserve her late father’s legacy.
“I put out this statement to reaffirm my commitment to family unity, reconciliation and the preservation of the enduring legacy of our late father, Apostle Dr Kwadwo Safo,” she stated.
According to her, the time has come for the family to “transcend whatever differences, misunderstandings or grievances that may have characterised the immediate aftermath of the demise of our dear dad and consign them to history.”
Declaring her full support for her brother’s leadership, she stated, “”I have immense love and respect for my brother, Israel Kwadwo Safo, and in the spirit of honouring our father’s wishes, I publicly acknowledge and accept him as the Leader of the Kantanka Family and the Kristo Asafo Church. He has my full support.”
She stressed that Apostle Safo’s legacy is a collective inheritance that must be protected.
“Our father’s legacy transcends any one individual. It is a collective inheritance and a profound responsibility entrusted to us, as his children.”
She called on members of the Kristo Asafo Church and the larger Kantanka family to respect the unity of the family and embrace “this new chapter with reconciliation, fraternity and a shared sense of purpose.”
