CSA Urges Parents to Teach Children Responsible Digital Payment Habits

The Cyber Security Authority (CSA) has urged parents and guardians to teach children responsible digital financial habits early, as young people increasingly use digital payment platforms.

The Authority gave the advice in a countdown message to the National Cyber Security Awareness Month (NCSAM) 2026.

In a flyer marking 10 days to the celebration, the CSA highlighted “Children and Digital Payments” as a key focus area for this year’s campaign.

“As young people increasingly use digital payment platforms, parents and guardians should teach responsible digital financial habits early,” the Authority stated.

The National Cyber Security Awareness Month, observed every October under the hashtag #NCSAM2026, is aimed at raising awareness on cyber hygiene, online safety and secure digital practices across the country.
