GES Engages Teacher Unions Over Concerns on 2025 Promotion Substantive Dates

Management of the Ghana Education Service (GES) has engaged the leadership of teacher unions over concerns raised by teachers regarding the substantive dates applicable to the 2025 promotion.

The engagement was held on August 18, 2026, according to a press release from GES.

In the release signed by the Head of Public Relations, Daniel Fenyi, said the engagement was in response to the concerns raised by teachers.

It promised to engage further with the unions to look into the issue.

Management said it remains committed to an amicable settlement of the matter and appealed to teachers for their continued support and cooperation.
