KMA Orders Verification of Shop Allocation at Asafo-VIP Building
The Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly, KMA, has directed allottees of shops at its building project in Asafo VIP, located opposite the ABSA Bank, to submit evidence of allocation and rent payment for verification and validation.
In a public notice dated August 17, 2026, the Assembly said the exercise is being undertaken in the best interest of all allottees.
Management is asking affected persons to present their allocation documents and proof of rent payment to the Subin Sub-Metro Office, located opposite the Vienna Hotel, or to the Estate Unit at KMA’s Main Office in Adum.
The Assembly stated that all documents must be submitted on or before Monday, August 31, 2026.
It warned that any allottee with valid documents who fails to comply with the directive will forfeit their allocation.
KMA urged all allottees to treat the notice with the seriousness it deserves.
