Music Legend Kojo Antwi Presents 300 Copies of His Book to Otumfuo

Legendary Ghanaian musician Kojo Antwi has presented 300 copies of his newly written autobiography to Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, Asantehene.

This was during the sixth Akwasidae festival celebration at the Manhyia Palace on August 12, 2026.

The BET Award-winning icon, popularly known as “The Music Man,” was accompanied by his wife as he paid traditional homage to the King and shared milestones from his distinguished four-decade career.

Reflecting on his journey, Kojo Antwi noted that while millions enjoy his songs, few are acquainted with his life story, which began when he started singing at the age of seven.

He explained that the memoir was written not only to document his personal history but also to inspire and guide aspiring musicians looking to enter the industry.

“Many know my music, but not my life story,” the music maestro stated during the presentation. “This is not just about me, but about our generation. I want to guide the next generation who want to venture into the music industry.”

In addition to presenting the books, Kojo Antwi announced that he will officially release his upcoming studio album at the Manhyia Palace.
