2026 WCQ: Black Stars Needs Your Unflinching Support; FA Amid Budgetary Controversy
The Ghana Football Association (GFA) is rallying the support of Ghanaians for the Black Stars following the revelation of what some have described as a “scandalous” budget for two World Cup qualifying games.
According to the FA, the support of Ghanaians has always done the magic for the team.
“The Black Stars require the unflinching support of all Ghanaians as they prepare to navigate these important encounters. The unity and commitment of our supporters have always been the team’s greatest strength, and we urge the nation to keep this spirit alive.”
The team will face Chad on Thursday, September 4, 2025, at 1 pm and Mali on Monday, September 8, 2025, at 7 pm.
The Black Stars needs a win to further solidify their grip on Group I, having won five matches and lost one in their six matches so far.
