Zuba Sworn In as KMA Boss
Former Obuasi Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Richard Ofori Agyeman, popularly known as Zuba, is now the Chief Executive Officer of the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA).
It follows his overwhelming confirmation by Assembly Members in an election held at the Miklin Hotel in Kumasi on April 10, 2025.
He won 54 out of 56 votes cast.
Zuba was immediately sworn into office by the Ashanti Regional Minister, Dr Frank Amoakohene.
Meanwhile, the Minister commended all the Assembly members for their cooperation and approval.
President John Mahama on April 4 nominated Richard Ofori-Agyemang Boadi as Chief Executive for the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly.
He was among the second batch of District Chief Executives (DCEs) released by the Presidency.
