World Cup Qualifiers: We Need You More Than Ever; Antoine Semenyo to Ghanaians

AFC Bournemouth winger Antoine Semenyo is rallying the support of the Ghanaians for the Black Stars in the lead-up to the next 2026 World Cup qualifiers later this month.
In a pre-recorded video posted by the official Facebook page of the senior male national team, the Ghana international underscored the need for the support of Ghanaians.
“Continue praying for us. Continue being with us; we need you more than ever. These games are so important and crucial for our qualification in the World Cup,” he frantically stated.
The 25-year-old assured of the team’s commitment to winning the two qualifiers.
“These games are so important and crucial for our qualification in the World Cup. We look forward to seeing you, and hopefully, we can get two wins.”
Ghana will face Chad on March 19 and Madagascar on March 22.
The West African country currently second in Group I, will face Madagascar after hosting Chad at the Accra Sports Stadium.
With nine points from four matches, the Black Stars are level with Comoros, having secured three wins and one defeat.
Ghana’s qualifying campaign began with a 1-0 win over Madagascar, followed by a loss to Comoros.
They bounced back with consecutive victories over Mali and the Central African Republic in June last year.
