We Seek to Drive More Investments in Kumasi- Tech in Ghana Founder to Asantehene

The Founder of Tech in Ghana, Akosua Annobil, has expressed her immense appreciation to the King of the Asante Kingdom, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, for giving her the opportunity to contribute to her roots.
She seeks to give back to her society by driving investment in Kumasi through the 15th edition of Tech in Ghana, which will be hosted at the Otumfuo Osei Tutu II Jubilee Hall at the Manhyia Palace.
It will be the first edition outside London and Accra, she told Otumfuo at the last Awukudae Festival of 2025.
It will begin on December 4 and end on December 5.
“I would like to thank Otumfuo for giving us this opportunity, for graciously trusting us to use this ground as a place to promote technology.”

She deems Kumasi as an incredible place for innovation and entrepreneurship, and thereby her resolve to project Asanteman with this edition.
“We want the world to know that I’m an Asante and I want to bring people to the region and drive more investments in the future.”
In the past 10 years, Akosua said her conference has been promoting, connecting and supporting Ghana’s tech community, including the startups, the founders, entrepreneurs, stakeholders, governments and regulators.
Her platform, she said, promotes these stakeholders on global platforms across the world.
“We’ve been hosting our events in London and Accra over the past eight years. We’ve done fourteen editions.”
The conferences, according to her, have supported over 1,000 companies and stakeholders and have had 4,000 people participating.
