We Haven’t Been Compensated – Ofankor Residents Cry Out Over Demolition Of Their Homes

Ghana Highway Authority (GHA) began its exercise to demolish structures to pave way for road expansion in Ofankor Barrier to Nsawam in Accra.

This exercise has affected many residents living in the area and has caused them to complain bitterly.

Residents have cried out to the media that the GHA promised to compensate them two years ago before they demolished their structures.

They talked about having no place to go and no money to acquire settlement as their properties have been destroyed in the demolition.

The exercise continues as the GHA seeks to pave way for road expansion from Accra to Suhum in the Eastern Region.
