We Didn’t Play Well Enough- Aboubakar Ouattara

The Head Coach of Hearts of Oak, Aboubakar Ouattara has expressed disappointment and dissatisfaction with his team’s output against FC Samartex on Sunday.

Hearts left the WAFA Park with a point, having drawn against the Samreboi lads.

In a post-match press conference, Ouattara said they went into the game in search of nothing short of a win; however, his boys’ output didn’t match up.

According to him, not many chances were created for the success of their objective, thereby the draw.

“We wanted to win today, but unfortunately, we didn’t score. We didn’t create enough chances; we managed only one or two. Unfortunately, we didn’t play well enough to score.”

He however commended the shot-stopper of the opponents for some strategic saves in the game that denied his team the win they wanted.

“I think the goalkeeper of Samartex did well, especially with one or two crucial saves, particularly the last one.”

Hearts are sixth on the league log with 29 points after 17 games, while, Samartex are surviving on 22 points and placed eighth.
