WAEC Monitoring Agent Assaulted

The West African Examination Council (WAEC) has said one of its monitoring agents has been assaulted after conducting his official duty.

According to the Council, he was attacked on Monday, September 12, 2022, by a gang of five.

It happened after monitoring the exam of Santa Maria SHS.

The council explains that he was “severely beaten and had his mobile phone and spectacle damaged”.

It added that an official complaint has been made to the Anyaa Police Station with investigations ongoing.
