Vice President Opoku Agyemang Receives Envoys On First Day At Work
On her first official day at work as the country’s Vice President, Her Excellency Prof Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang received delegations of diplomatic envoys.
The courtesy call on January 8, 2025, was by the envoys of Israel to Ghana, Liberia, and Sierra Leone led by Ambassador Roey Gilad and Sharren Haskel, Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs.
In a Facebook post, she shared an insight into her activities.
“Over the course of our discussion, I emphasised our willingness to collaborate with Israel and to align our priorities to achieve mutual benefits.
“I highlighted the critical need for support as we work to rebuild our economy, particularly in the area of food security.”
Meanwhile, the envoys expressed interest in mutual collaboration and promised to facilitate further discussions on future collaborations.
