Venue For Daddy Lumba’s One Week Changed

The Funeral Planning Committee of the late Charles Kwadwo Fosuh, popularly known as Daddy Lumba, has announced changes in the venue for the One Week.

Instead of the initially announced University of Ghana Sports Stadium, it will be held at Independence Square in Osu.

“Originally scheduled to take place at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium, Legon, the event will now be held at the BLACK STAR SQUARE (INDEPENDENCE SQUARE), OSU, ACCRA.”

The event will take place on August 30, 2025, from 9 am to 6 pm with a black dress code.

“The Funeral Planning Committee regrets any inconvenience this change may cause and kindly requests the cooperation of all who intend to participate in honouring the memory of the Legend. We look forward to your presence as we celebrate the life and works of DADDY LUMBA,” it said in a statement.

Daddy Lumba passed away on July 26, 2025, at a medical facility after a short illness.
