Two More MMDCEs Named

President John Dramani Mahama has named two more Municipal/District Chief Executives, pending approval by their respective Assemblies nominees.

The two will serve in the Central Region if confirmed by their respective assemblies, per a statement by the Minister for Local Government, Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs (MLGCRA), Ahmed Ibrahim.

Rev. Atta Mensah has been nominated for Effutu Municipal Assembly, with Gariba Adam for Assin Central Municipal Assembly.

“H. E. the President in accordance with Article 243 (1) of the 1992 Constitution and Section 20 (1) of the Local Governance Act, 2016 (Act 936) (as amended), has nominated the following Municipal/District Chief Executives, pending approval by their respective Assemblies.”
