The Coach Should Consider Richard Ofori, Jojo Wollacot Is Not Good Enough-Sonnie Badu

Ghanaians expressed their disappointment in the flaws of the Black Stars last Friday, 23rd September 2022 in their match against Brazil.

Ghana in their friendlies ahead of the Qatar 2022 World Cup lost a 3-nil defeat to the Samba boys.

Among those criticising the team and the coach especially is ace gospel singer Sonnie Badu who has asked the coach Otto Addo to make a good selection when it comes to the goal post.

Sonnie in a new post on Facebook, monitored by Opemsuo.com stated the goalkeeper, Jojo Wollacot is not good enough rather Orlando Pirates’ Richard Ofori should be the number one goalkeeper for the Black Stars.

He talked about the Black Stars needing a goalkeeper who is confident and can command his defence to avoid goals.

“In all honesty, I am very worried about our goalkeeper. It’s not that he’s not good, but I think in time he will be one of our best shot-stoppers.

However, for now, we need a very confident keeper who has great command at the back and in the pole and also communicates clearly. I hardly saw him saying a word at the back, maybe they don’t get it, because with Ghana Black Stars you play with passion.

I think the coach should strongly consider using Ofori as our number 1 … Well, I guess he knows better .. #Ronaldo will be waiting for us with his free-kicks.” He posted.
