Asanteman Mourns: Minister For Works and Housing Commiserates With Asantehene

The Minister for Works and Housing, Hon Kenneth Gilbert Adjei, has commiserated with the King of the Asante Kingdom, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II. This followed the demise of the Queen, Her Majesty Nana Konadu Yiadom III.
He expressed his sympathy and supported the Palace with a donation in kind ahead of the One-week celebration of the Queen.
The Minister was among traditional authorities, religious groups, individuals, as well as corporate groups and institutions who visited the Manhyia Palace on August 20, 2025, to condole with the Asantehene.
Among them were Justice Anin Yeboah, former Chief Justice, Dr Kwame Kyei, Businessman, Hon Frank Osei Mensah, former Board Member of the Lands Commission, Société Générale, Anglican Church, and Presbyterian Church of Ghana.
Representatives of Guinness Ghana, Knights and Ladies of Marshall, the Lands Commission, Attache Construction Limited, NIB Bank, GTP, Asanko Gold Mine, Ghana Draughts Association, Bethel Prayer and others were also present.
The Queen passed away peacefully on August 7, 2025. The One-week observation is scheduled for August 21, 2025.
