Bawumia Donates 50k To Popular Actor TT

Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has donated an amount of 50,000 cedis to veteran actor, Psalm Adjetefio, popularly known as TT after a passionate demand for help.
The Ghanaian actor in an interview revealed that the time for his rented apartment was due and was heading straight to the streets if Ghanaians do not intervene and thereby sought for 3,000 cedis.
Following this, Lawyer Akbar Yussi Khomeini who works at the office of the Vice President posted in a Facebook post said he was meeting with the actor today to hand over money.
Today, despite the news of the demise of the Vice President’s mother, the promise is fulfilled.
A Facebook post from a New Patriotic Party (NPP) foot soldier, Krobea Kwabena Asante indicated that the promise is fulfilled.
According to him, the vice president has paid an amount of 30,000cedis which constitutes a five-year rent, and added an amount of 20, 000cedis for his upkeep.
“Despite mourning his mum who died in the early hours of today, Dr. Bawumia this morning fulfilled a promise he made yesterday to TT of Taxi Driver fame that he will foot TT’s rent bills. Dr. Bawumia has paid 6 months renewable for the next 5 years (30k) for TT and has also given TT 20k for upkeep. In all, he gave TT 50k this morning”, Krobea posted.
Meanwhile many including the former President, John Dramani Mahama, and the President, Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo have sympathized with the bereaved Veep.
“I just got off the phone with my brother, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, to console him and the entire family on the loss of their mother, Hajia Mariama Bawumia earlier this morning.
May Allah grant her a peaceful rest”, John Mahama posted on Facebook.
”On behalf of my wife, Rebecca, my family, the Government, and the people of Ghana, I convey deep sympathies to the Vice President, Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, on the sad loss of his mother, Hajia Mariama Bawumia. I pray for strength for him and his family in these very difficult times. May Allah grants her soul eternal rest and the highest level of Jannah”, Nana Akufo-Addo also posted on Facebook.
