Baba Yara to Host Lumba’s Final Funeral Rites
The Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi has been selected as venue for the final funeral rites of the late musician Charles Kwadwo Fosuh, popularly known as Daddy Lumba.
In a statement the family said final funeral rites will take place on December 6, 2025.
“We wish to announce the Final Funeral Rites of the legendary Ghanaian Highlife musician, Daddy Lumba.”
It encouraged the public to join family, friends, fans, and well-wishers to celebrate the life of the legend and bid a dignified farewell to the “icon whose music touched generations.”
Daddy Lumba passed away on July 26, 2025, at a medical facility after a short illness.
His One Week Observation was held on August 30.
