Super Clash: Zuba Insists on Victory in Super Clash to Redeem Kotoko from Humiliation.

Richard Ofori Agyemang Boadi, the Mayor of Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly, has called for victory for Asante Kotoko in the Super Clash on Sunday.
Mr. Richard Ofori Agyemang, popularly recognised as King Zuba, paid a visit to Adako Jachie, the training facility of the Porcupine Warriors, together with the Ashanti Regional Minister, Dr. Frank Amoakohene.
The Kumasi Mayor, who has proclaimed his intention to become Asante Kotoko’s Board Chairman, has urged the team to go all out in Sunday’s game to help erase the club’s recent record of poor results.
Zuba revealed, “We are here this evening for one reason only: If any tree falls in the Asante Kingdom, it should not be a pawpaw tree. The tree that fell on us last Sunday was a pawpaw. However, I urge you to overcome Hearts of Oak in the upcoming match to atone for the dishonour that occurred the previous Sunday.”
The Mayor of Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly pleaded with the team at the training grounds to give their all for a win solely for the people of the Asante Kingdom and the club’s supporters, in order to restore hope and trust.
“We have come to you with a beautiful lady, a member of Parliament for Sekyere Afram Plains (Hajia Nasira). We are on our knees pleading with each one of you to win on Sunday so that every person in Kumasi will forget the disastrous results last Sunday,” Zuba pleaded.
He further elaborated on his efforts that will make the supporters of the club troop into the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in their numbers to serve as the number twelve man for the Super Clash.
“Even though my boss has already purchased tickets for the supporters on Sunday, I personally will be positioned at the Amakom Shell. Any taxi driver with his Asante Kotoko’s flag as well as his matchday ticket will be provided with four gallons of fuel before kick-off on Sunday,” Zuba declared.
