State Housing Company Visits Manhyia Palace
The management members of State Housing Company Limited on Friday called on His Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II at the Manhyia Palace.
The working visit on December 15, 2023, was in recognition of the festive season and meant to extend a warm greeting to the King.
“Together with my workers from Kumasi and Accra, we are here to pay homage to Otumfuo. It has been a while since I had the opportunity to visit the Palace and so we set this day apart for the purpose,” the Managing Director, Kwabena Ampofo Appiah said.
Providing some insight about the state of the Company, he said the business was running as smoothly as silk, unlike the previous year, which necessitated his frequent visit to the Palace for help.
He noted that the company was developing some affordable homes in the country with many more in the pipeline for the Ashanti Region next year.
His Majesty received news about the favourable condition of the company with joy, noting, “I am glad to learn the company is flourishing. That is all we hope for.”
Otumfuo also counselled members of the delegation to facilitate the universal responsibility of the Managing Director which is linked to their role.
“He is the leader but each one of you pushes him with your individual responsibilities. His failure will be a failure for each one of you and so lend him with your support.”
His Majesty lightened the delegation up with joy when he promised to attend their next commissioning project in the Ashanti Region.
Among the delegation were Isaac Frimpong Mensah, the Head of Business Development, Edward Yaw Awuah, the Head of Estate Management, Daniel Fiifi Dwamena, the Head of Estate Development and Osei Owusu Ansah, the Head of Administration.
