Sports Ministry Congratulates Samartex, Hasaacas Ladies on Season Glory
The Ministry of Youth and Sports has congratulated league champions FC Samartex and Hasaacas Ladies on their respective victories in this season’s men and women leagues.
In a statement, the Ministry said, “As the football season ends, the Ministry of Youth and Sports is thrilled to congratulate the winners of our leagues and our competitions.
“A big well done to FC Samartex for winning the Ghana Premier League. Your hard work and teamwork have made us all proud. Congratulations to Hasaacas Ladies FC for winning the Women’s Premier League. Your dedication is an inspiration to young women across Ghana.”
It also sent words of commendation to the Army Ladies for winning the Women’s FA Cup with their “very impressive” craftsmanship.
“Your victory shows the strength and talent of our women in sports.”
The Ministry believes their achievements highlight the passion and spirit of Ghanaian football and thereby the need to lend it collective and unflinching support.
It also sent out best wishes ahead of the MTN FA Cup finals for the male team which is slated to take place this Sunday in Accra.
“Best of luck to Nsoatreman FC and Bofoakwa Tano in the final of the 2023/24 MTN FA Cup. The match will take place of the University of Ghana Sports Stadium on Sunday, June 23, 2024. We look forward to an exciting game.”
