SHS Placement Portal Hitches Resolved- GES

The Ghana Education Service (GES) has confirmed the resolution of technical hitches that hit the 𝗖𝗦𝗦𝗣𝗦 𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗶e𝘄 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗶𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗹.

In a statement, it said the portal is active and now accessible to the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) candidates.

“The general public, particularly parents, guardians and candidates, are informed that the concerns relating to the 𝗖𝗦𝗦𝗣𝗦 𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗶𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗹 have been resolved. The Portal is now 𝗟𝗜𝗩𝗘 and accessible to all candidates.”

Apologising for the inconvenience, it provided assurances that the technical team and the 24-hour team remain on standby to consistently take feedback and respond to them in a timely and appropriate manner.

“We appreciate the patience and cooperation of the public during the brief challenge earlier experienced,” it added.

The Service also noted that the platform will remain live for candidates to confirm their choice of schools until September 8.

It therefore directed, “All candidates are therefore encouraged to log in with their 𝗕𝗘𝗖𝗘 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗲𝘅 𝗡𝘂𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 and D𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗕𝗶𝗿𝘁𝗵 to review and confirm their choices without any further difficulty.”

The GES noted that schools cannot be changed on the platform.
