See Fixtures: 2024/25 League Season Starts in Sept

The 2024/2025 premier league season will kickstart on September 6, 2024, with nine games set for Matchday one.

The 34 fixtures were released by the Ghana Football Association (GFA) on Monday, July 29, 2024.

As part of matchday one, champions FC Samartex will attempt their first test in defending their title against Dreams Football Club at Dawu while the Club of the Century, Asante Kotoko will make a journey to the home of Karela United.

New boys Basake Holystars, Vision FC and Young Apostles will respectively test their potency for survival in the league against Hearts of Oak, Berekum Chelsea and Nsoatreman FC.

Bechem United will face off with Nations FC while Medeama will take on Accra Lions with GoldStars hosting Legon Cities.

These opening matches will spring from Friday, September 6, 2024, to Monday, September 9, 2024, across all nine Premier League centres.

Meanwhile, the season will end on June 8, 2025.

The last fixtures for Matchday 34 will witness Dreams FC locking horns with Legon Cities at home, Medeama against Berekum Chelsea, Vision FC against Asante Kotoko, Aduana FC against Basake Holystars, Nations FC against Heart of Lions, Bechem United against Young Apostles, Gold Stars FC against Accra Lions, Karela United against Nsoatreman FC and Hearts of Oak against FC Samartex.

The FA noted that the Premier League will go on a one-week break in the lead-up to the December 7, 2024, National Elections to enable players and officials to travel across the length and breadth of the country to fulfil their civic duty and cast their votes.
