Securing School Placement Is Free- GES Affirms
The Ghana Education Service (GES) has stated that the computerised school placement process is free.
It therefore discouraged parents and guardians from making any form of payments to secure a placement into any Senior High Schools and Technical Vocational Training Schools.
It comes as the Computerised School Placement commences.
In a statement, the Service said the placement process will run throughout September 2025.
“Please, do not pay money to anyone—whether a ministry official or a third party—for this service.”
It also encouraged the public to report anyone who demands money.
“If you encounter a person asking for money, report them immediately to the Ghana Police Service, the Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP).
