Reconsider Decision To Approve Ministerial Nominees; Majority Chief Whip Appeals To NDC Leadership

The Majority Whip and MP for Nsawam Adoagyiri Frank Annoh-Dompreh has appealed to the Minority caucus and the NDC Leadership to reconsider their decision not to approve Ministerial nominees being vetted by Parliament’s Appointment Committee.

Frank Annoh-Dompreh made the appeal at a press conference at Parliament House today, February 21, 2023.

He said for the sake of unity and the need for consensus building in the House, there is the need for the Minority caucus to abandon the idea of kicking against the approval of the nominees and give the nominees the nod to serve the country .

On the demand by the Minority for a reduction in the size of government, Frank Annoh-Dompreh urged the Minority caucus to exercise some patience for the President .
