PPA Case: We Act in Ghana’s Best Interest- OSP

The Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) says its actions with regard to the Public Procurement Authority’s case have always been in the interest of Ghana.
In a post, the Office said it had dutifully confronted the case, which is in court.
It disclosed that during the pendency of the case, a further review by the OSP required a re-direction of the conduct of the trial.
“The OSP has acted and will continue to act in the best interest of the Republic.”
In an update, the PPA said the trial continued today, December 8, 2025, with a pending motion by the OSP to call an additional witness.
The case has been fixed for 20 January 2026 for continuation.
“The OSP has dutifully conducted this case since the current Special Prosecutor inherited it upon assumption of office,” it noted.
