Police officers Allegedly Caught Taking Bribe Interdicted

The Ghana Police Service has announced the interdiction of some police officers in the Bono Region over alleged bribery.

The officers appeared in a viral video taking money from some motorists at a checkpoint. Reports indicate the incident happened at Jaman North.

In a statement, it said the officers had been identified and suspended to make way for a thorough investigation.

“The officers involved have been identified and interdicted to allow for a thorough and impartial investigation into the incident.

It further assured the public of its commitment to upholding the highest standard of professionalism among its personnel.
