Police Grab 1 At NPP Delegates Conference

One person was arrested by the police during the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) National Delegates Conference, the Ghana Police Service said in a brief statement in a Facebook post.

The conference which took place in Accra was from Friday, July 15 to Saturday, July 16, 2022.

The delegates conference was to elect new national executives.

The arrested person whose identity was not disclosed by the police was arrested on Saturday.

He is reported to have impeded the election process.

“The Police have arrested one person for impeding the election process at the ongoing NPP National Delegates Conference in Accra”, the Police reported.
