Police Arrest 3 Suspects over Fufulso MoMo Vendor Robbery

The Ghana Police Service has announced the arrest of three suspects in connection with the robbery attack on a Mobile Money (MoMo) vendor at Fufulso in the Savannah Region.

This was announced in a Facebook post on March 13, 2026. However, details of the arrest are yet to be communicated by the police.

In a statement on Tuesday, the police disclosed that an intelligence-led operation was currently underway to get the robbers arrested to face justice.

It added that security has also been intensified in the Fufulso township and surrounding communities.

Robbery
Around 8 pm on March 8, armed robbers reportedly stormed the venue while the operator was attending to a customer and opened fire on them.

The two died while being rushed to the hospital.

Meanwhile, three other people were confirmed to have sustained injuries and are in critical condition at the Buipe District Hospital.
