PNP Sets Date for Congress, Presidential Aspirants to Pay ¢100k

The People’s National Party (PNP) has set 24th and 25th August 2024 to hold their national congress to elect leaders for the upcoming election.

Aspirants have been directed to pick up and file their forms from 8th to 15th August 2024 at the party’s head office at Kokomlemle, adjacent Hubtel office.

In a press statement, the Party which has had internal wrangling in the past years said the Presidential Candidate/Chairman and Leader for the party will pay GHC100,000.00 as a filing fee while Vice Chairman and Leader will pay GHC50,000.00.

The General Secretary and the National Treasurer position will be respectively filed at a cost of GHC30, 000.00 and GHC20, 000.00 with the National Organiser fee pegged at GHC20, 000.00.

Meanwhile, the National Women Organiser goes for GHC10, 000.00 while the National Youth Organiser position goes for GHC20, 000.00.

“Women aspirants are to pay 50% of the filing fees stated above.”
