Outage on OBR Feeder as Technicians Relocate Electricity Poles
There is currently a power outage on the OBR Feeder, which supplies electricity to Santasi Roundabout, Santasi Fidelity Bank, Ernest Chemist, TUC, Parts of Nhyiaso, Unity Oil, Dakodwom and surrounding areas.
The shutdown is to make way for the relocation of some electricity poles by Adusi Electrical Company, the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) said in a notice.
The exercise comes in the wake of plans to construct the dual carriage road from Santase to Ahodwo roundabout.
The feeder will be off from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm today.
The same exercise will take place on February 26, 2026, and Tuesday, March 3, 2026, from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, each day.
“ECG regrets the inconvenience that will arise out of this exercise,” the ECG said.
