Our People Are Right Agitating Against Us – Suame MCE Admits

The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for the Suame Municipal, Hon. Maxwell Ofosu Boakye has indicated that residents of Suame and its environs are right agitating against the authorities over the abandoned road project.

Speaking on Opemsuo Radio, the MCE said, the residents have voted for the MP for close to 28 years, and to see their road in such a bad condition will provoke them to act in the manner they did.

He admitted that the residents are right for verbally assaulting him (the MCE) and the MP, Hon. Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu over the poor state of the road. He said, if they had done well they will be praised as it does happen but if it turns out to be the other way round then they have to receive it in good faith.

He added that the contractor is on the road working and that that will make sure that it is duly accomplished and opened to traffic.
