Otumfuo Foundation: The Eminent Personalities Appointed to US Board of Directors

A board of six eminent members has been unveiled in the United States of America (USA) for the Otumfuo Osei Tutu II Foundation (OOTIIF).

The venerable and illustrious personalities were unveiled by the Non-governmental organization of Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, the 16th Occupant of the Golden Stool, on March 27, 2025, in a press statement.

The Board headed by Nana Professor Oheneba Boachie-Adjei Woahene II includes Barbara Acheampong, a Tax Accountant and CEO of Rhema Financial Services and Aseda Transport Inc.; Marlon W. Brown, the Founder and CEO of Clarendon Global Partners, LLC (CGP); and H.E. Lady Jiljuana J. Coleman, the CEO of Jamerson Strategic Consulting, LLC.

The rest are Dr. Sandi Williams, Commissioner on The Philadelphia Commission for Women; and Nana Dr. Akuoku Boateng, the Medical Director at NYU Laurelton Medical Center in New York.

Nana Professor Oheneba Boachie-Adjei Woahene II
Nana Professor Oheneba Boachie-Adjei Woahene II, Otumfuo Hiahene of the Ashanti Kingdom, serves as Chair of the Board.

As an internationally acclaimed orthopaedic surgeon and humanitarian, he is the Founder and President of FOCOS, providing life-changing spine surgeries to underserved populations globally.

He is an Emeritus Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at Weill Cornell Medical College and former Chief of the Scoliosis Service at the Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS).

As Board Chair of the Otumfuo Osei-Tutu II Foundation, he champions education, health, and cultural advancement in Ghana. His lifetime of service reflects excellence in medicine, visionary leadership, and unwavering dedication to humanity.

Barbara Acheampong
Barbara is a tax accountant and CEO of Rhema Financial Services and Aseda Transport Inc.

With over two decades of expertise, she is a licensed IRS Enrolled Agent and a distinguished Board Member of the Massachusetts Enrolled Agents and National Association of Enrolled Agents (NAEA).

She also serves on the MaSEA Education Board and is a Certified QuickBooks Advisor and Public Notary. Beyond finance, she leads the Love Gives Foundation and Asante Professionals Club-USA, supporting education and healthcare in West Africa.

Barbara also serves as a District Charity Fund Trustee for Rotary Club District 7910 and a Board Member of the City of Chelmsford Culture Committee.

Marlon W. Brown
Marlon is a seasoned investment executive with over 30 years of global asset management experience, Marlon Brown is the Founder and CEO of Clarendon Global Partners, LLC (CGP) and Managing Partner of Africa Vision Partners (AVP), where he leads strategic investment initiatives across international markets.

Throughout his distinguished career, Brown has held several senior roles at leading investment institutions. He previously served as Vice President of T. Rowe Price Group and as a Senior Portfolio Manager at both Trusco Capital Management and INVESCO Capital Management, investing for an impressive list of corporate and institutional clients, including endowments & foundations.

Cumulatively, he has been the responsible fiduciary for over $400 billion in assets. Brown has served as Chairman of The African Union Diaspora Initiative, Chair of the Africa Emerging Markets Summit, and is a Board Member of the National Association of Securities Professionals (nasphq.org).

Brown holds a B.Sc. in Engineering and an MBA in International Finance and Investments. His professional journey began as an Aerospace Engineer at Lockheed Martin, showcasing his diverse expertise and analytical acumen.

H.E. Lady Jiljuana J. Coleman
She is a renowned global business strategist, diplomatic liaison, and advocate for economic empowerment with over two decades of experience in international trade, diplomacy, and executive leadership.

As CEO of Jamerson Strategic Consulting, LLC, she leads initiatives in economic growth, trade facilitation, and leadership development.

She serves as a Strategic Partner with the Nasdaq Entrepreneurial Center, a U.S. Ambassador to the Global Diversity Export Initiative, and a United Nations Delegate for the Sixth Region Diaspora, amplifying African diaspora voices in global policymaking.

Dr. Sandi Williams
Sandy is a visionary leader and nonprofit strategist with over 3 decades of expertise in philanthropy, economic empowerment, and nonprofit management.

She has spearheaded transformative initiatives in education, healthcare, and youth development, mobilizing millions in critical funding and forging high-impact partnerships. Passionate about social impact, she excels in securing strategic resources, fostering sustainable growth, and Philadelphia building collaborations across the U.S. and Africa.

Dr. Williams serves as Commissioner on The Philadelphia Commission for Women appointed by Mayor Parker, Philadelphia’s 100th Mayor and first African American female. She previously served as Chief Development Officer and is a current Board Member for an international nonprofit operating in 40 U.S. states and four countries.

Nana Dr. Akuoku Boateng
He is a Board-Certified physician in Internal Medicine and Medical Director at NYU Laurelton Medical Center, New York.

Nana Dr. Boateng is also a successful entrepreneur with multiple business ventures in both the U.S. and Ghana.
