One Arrested After Ntonso Clash

Two persons have sustained injuries while one other has been arrested after a group of youths stormed Ntonso in the Kwabre East District this morning.
Reports say a clash began yesterday after two sections in the Kwabre East District wrangled.
According to reports by a tv station, a section of the two groups stormed Ntonso market this morning thinking the town’s youth had attacked them the previous night.
The youth of Ntonso in turn retaliated.
The youth in the process vandalized the Ntonso market, blocked roads, broke windscreens of some vehicles and pelted stones at themselves.
Police officers were deployed to the scene and one person was subsequently arrested.
Two persons sustained minor injuries on the head and arm.
Calm has since been restored in the town.
